TRADITIONAL/CLASSIC STYLES

Evoking the styles of an era gone by, traditional/classic kitchens still remain popular and have a place in modern design sensibilities, whilst still echoing class and sophistication.

CABINETS

Traditional/classic cabinets incorporate more of a furniture style than their modern counterparts. They define the style and class of kitchens from the past. Traditional cabinets will usually have glass inserts and/or have elements that are indented into the wooden frame. Antique style handles complete the classic look. The classic style cabinets can easily integrate white goods as part of the finish to complete the traditional look.

WORKTOPS

Two types of worktops compliment a traditional/classic kitchen. A classic wood finish that is mitered with fine edges is not only easy to work on, but easy to clean as well. Natural stone in many styles, such as Quartz and Marble also compliment a traditional finish.

COLOUR/TEXTURE

Colours that complement the furniture style cabinets and worktops are a must with a classic design. These can be muted colours such as cream, beige etc. or bold colours in a lighter tone, such as mint green for example. Traditional colours stay consistent, usually no secondary or tertiary colours. Our design team will show you the best options that compliment the rest of your kitchen design.
